Point Park University's Office of Title IX and Dispute Resolution is the focal point of policy development and compliance in accordance with local, state and federal laws covered within the University's nondiscrimination statement.
Online Reporting
The Office of Title IX and Dispute Resolution utilizes Maxient for online reporting. Instead of emailing or visiting the Office of Title IX and Dispute Resolution, you may report online. The Office of Title IX and Dispute Resolution will handle reports for instances of Title IX and instances of protected category discrimination and harassment.
New Title IX Regulations
The United States Department of Education’s new Title IX regulations went into effect Aug. 1, 2024. Point Park University has updated its Title IX policies and procedures to comply with new Title IX obligations. The following policies prohibiting sex discrimination at Point Park University and the resolution process for alleged violations of those policies are effective beginning Aug. 1, 2024 and apply to claims of sex discrimination occurring after that date.

Point Park’s Policy on Discrimination and Harassment and Policy Prohibiting Sexual Harassment, Relationship Violence and Stalking continue to apply to claims of sex discrimination occurring prior to Aug. 1, 2024.
